Fun & reliable group-based respite care to support clients and caregivers. Respite care gives you a break from caregiving while your child or children take part in a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate weeknight, PD day or Saturday group program. Each session includes a mix of active and quiet time, including:

  • Arts and crafts, baking and sensory-play
  • Group games and hands-on projects
  • Indoor gym time
  • Calming activities like story time

Prerequisite Skills

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?

Your child is a great fit if they:

  • Can follow group instructions
  • Can participate in group activities with 1 staff to 3 children ratio
  • Enjoy toys, games and crafts
  • Enjoy group activities and quiet time

WHO IS NOT A FIT?

This program is not suitable if your child:

  • Has difficulties following instructions, or group routines
  • Displays any behaviors that could cause injury to self or others, or require emergency help
