Community Resource Directory
The Community Resource Directory is a comprehensive listing of agencies in Toronto that provide a variety of services to children and adolescents with autism and their families.
A copy of the directory can be viewed here for adults and here for children and adolescents.

My Health Booklet Series
The My Health Booklets are a series of health education booklets produced by Surrey Place Centre and funded by the Ontario Government, Ministry of Community and Social Services. The purpose for the series is to offer guidance to people with developmental disabilities in a clear and simple manner. The series consists of eight booklets now available online, with subjects ranging from general health issues to more specific health topics. The following booklets are now available online:

TPAS Library Catalogue
The Surrey Place Centre TPAS Library Catalogue is a helpful resource for parents of TPAS children. Parents can access books, cds and dvds to work with their children in areas of communication and play to name a few.

Developmental Services Legislation ~ Bill 77
Adults who have a developmental disability want more choice and control over their lives. The Government of Ontario is committed to improving services and supports for them and their families.
In order to make changes, the Government of Ontario has created the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008. The new Act will give adults with a developmental disability more independence and choice.

The Government of Ontario is proud to support the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP).
The RDSP helps family members to save money, tax free until withdrawal, for the future needs of children and adults with disabilities.

The Accessible Channel, also known as TACtv, is a national English language satellite-to-cable described video and captioned programming undertaking that 24 hours a day offers blind, low-vision, deaf and hard of hearing viewers access to films, entertainment and other programming.
You can enjoy TACtv on Bell TV, Rogers, Cogeco (Ontario and Quebec), Shaw, Star Choice, and SaskTel provided you have a basic digital package.
