The Research and Evaluation Unit at Surrey Place Centre supports and guides applied research and program evaluation across Surrey Place Centre.

Research Initiatives

Surrey Place Centre has a long tradition of conducting and publishing internationally recognized research on developmental disability issues. All research projects relate to our mission of enhancing the quality of life of people living with developmental disabilities.

In addition to conducting independent research, Surrey Place Centre also develops partnerships with other organizations to pursue collaborative research initiatives.

Evaluation Program

Our Evaluation Program helps Surrey Place Centre to continually enhance the services we offer our clients. In Evaluation we examine and assess our current programs to ensure we maintain procedures that work well, and continually identify ways to improve the effectiveness of our services.
